A second plane linked to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is under “24-hour a day” surveillance by Dominican Republic authorities, the CNN a source with knowledge of the subject.

The source did not specify details about the model or make of the plane or whether a request had been made to ground the aircraft.

This comes after the US Department of Justice seized a Dassault Falcon 900EX aircraft linked to the Venezuelan president.

This plane, linked to Maduro and people close to the head of state, was seized in the Dominican Republic before being transferred to Florida.
