The stretch of BR 376, in the city of Guaratuba, on the coast of Paraná, hit by a landslide last Monday (28) should remain closed for at least another 48 hours, according to information from Arteris Litoral Sul.
In a bulletin, the concessionaire states that the information should be updated next Tuesday (7), but the release of the road “will depend on the reduction in the volume of rain, on the improvement of the climate over the next few days and on the drying of the soil” .
Two deaths were confirmed by the landslide caused by the heavy rains that hit the region. The Fire Department ended the search for victims at the site last Friday (2), confirming that, in addition to the deaths, six people were rescued alive and another six managed to escape the vehicles without needing assistance.
The statement released at the time informs that, in all, six heavy vehicles and three light vehicles were removed from the site.
