The European Union has agreed on sectoral sanctions against Belarus, which is now ruled de facto by the regime of the self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko. This was reported in Twitter Radio Liberty correspondent in Brussels, Ricard Jozwiak.
According to him, sectoral sanctions against Belarus have been agreed in three areas: potash, banking and oil.
The journalist writes that the EU Council should give a green political light to this on Monday, and it will be finalized in the following days.
