Retirees, pensioners and policyholders of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) are able to know the date of payment of their benefits throughout this year, according to the calendar published by the INSS. In all, there are more than 36 million beneficiaries, according to the institute.
The order of deposits did not change compared to previous years. People who earn benefits of up to one minimum wage they receive first, and will have the January value, for example, deposited between January 25th and February 7th. People with monthly income above the minimum wage will have their payments from February 1st.
For those who started receiving benefits recently, the INSS informs that the payment date depends on the final number of the benefit card. The insured must disregard the last digit, which appears after the dash. Those who have been receiving their benefits for a longer period will not see any changes, and will continue with the amount deposited on the usual dates.
