The stories of the paquitas, who were stage assistants for presenter Xuxa Meneghel, 61, on her television programs, are coming back to light after the documentary release “Forever Paquitas” from Globoplay. The production arrived on the TV Globo streaming platform on September 17th.

Actress Michelle Martins, 43, was one of 20 girls who reached the final of the 1995 paquitas competition, but was not chosen to join the group.
She, who participated in soap operas such as “Fina Estampa” and “A Força do Querer”, celebrated the change of times and said that the program “wasn’t ready yet” to have girls like her in the cast. Unlike the other paquitas, Michelle was not blonde.
