See how public services work in SP during the holiday

The Tiradentes holiday, this Thursday (21), will cause changes in the hours of some services in the capital of São Paulo until next Sunday (24). The rotation of vehicles will be suspended, both on Thursday and Friday (22), and the circulation of buses will also have changes.

The city of São Paulo reiterates, however, that the application of vaccines against Covid-19, measles, flu and polio will be maintained during the weekend.

Health

Will be open and with uninterrupted operation:

  • Hospitals and emergency rooms;
  • Outpatient Medical Assistance (AMAs) 24h;
  • Emergency Care Units (UPAs);
  • Psychosocial Care Center (Caps) AD IV Redenção;
  • Samu 192.

Will be closed:

  • Basic Health Units (UBSs);
  • Specialized Rehabilitation Centers (CERs);
  • Specialized Municipal Network (RME) in Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI/AIDS).

Will have differentiated service:

  • The 12 am AMAs will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm;
  • Integrated AMAs/UBSs will work on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 7 am to 7 pm, including for vaccination against Covid-19, flu, measles and poliomyelitis;
  • Day Hospitals (HDs) will work on Saturday and Sunday;
  • The Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps III) will work on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only with internal demands, without opening to the public;
  • The Specialty AMAs will be closed on Thursday and Friday and will be open on Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm;
  • The three units of the veterinary hospitals in the north, south and east will be closed on Thursday and open on Friday;
  • The Coordination of Health and Protection of Domestic Animals (Cosap) will work on duty on Friday;
  • In addition to this equipment, the Health Surveillance Coordination (Covisa) and the Zoonoses Surveillance Division (DVZ) will be on duty. All units will return to normal service on Monday.

Vaccination

  • On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Integrated WADAs/UBSs will provide, from 7 am to 7 pm, vaccines against Covid-19, flu, measles and poliomyelitis;
  • On Sunday, the immunization will be held in Buenos Aires, Severo Gomes, Carmo, Villa-Lobos, Independence and Youth parks, from 8 am to 5 pm. On Avenida Paulista, vaccination will take place in a tent, installed at number 52, and in a partner pharmacy (number 995), from 8 am to 4 pm. The parks and the tent on Avenida Paulista will apply doses of vaccine against Covid-19 and against the flu for eligible age groups. The pharmacy will only have an immunizer against Covid-19;
  • On Monday, immunization against Covid-19 and flu will take place across the entire network: UBSs and Integrated AMAs/UBSs, from 7 am to 7 pm, and megaposts and drive-thrus, from 8 am to 5 pm. Vaccination for children is carried out only in the Integrated UBSs and AMAs/UBSs. Measles and polio immunization will also resume on Monday only at UBSs and Integrated WADAs/UBSs.

vehicle rotation

The city government suspended the car rotation on Thursday and Friday. Already the rotation for trucks will be maintained on Friday. On this day, exclusive bus lanes will not be released either.

Public transportation

  • The circulation of buses on Thursday will be equivalent to the fleet on Saturday. On Friday, the fleet will be working day;
  • Single ticket: SPTrans informs that on Thursday and Friday the service will be normal, from 6 am to 10 pm, at sales points in bus terminals and on Expresso Tiradentes. The Central Post and Jabaquara and Santana stores will be closed, returning to normal operation on Monday.

Education

The equipment of the Municipal Secretary of Education will be closed, returning on Monday.

Leisure

Municipal parks will be open normally during the Tiradentes holiday. Opening hours for each location can be found here.

The Sports Centers will be open at the usual times of holidays and weekends next Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the centers will be open at the usual weekend hours. The timetables for each region can be found here.
