The federal government published an ordinance this Wednesday (11) in which it announces the minimum value of R$ 1,302 for Social Security. In the same ordinance, the readjustments of those who retired last year and receive above the floor were specified.
Retirements, pensions and other benefits from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) that have amounts above the minimum wage must be readjusted by up to 5.93% this year, according to the inflation variation in 2022 measured by the National Consumer Price Index (INPC).
However, the calculation based on the readjustment varies according to the month in which the taxpayer retired. Those who retired in January 2022 will receive the benefit with a readjustment of 5.93%, as well as retirees since 2021, while for retirees in December the variation will be 0.69%.
The benefit floor, which accompanies the minimum wage confirmed this Wednesday, will have a greater readjustment (7.4%)
