In this Friday’s (31) edition of the New Day Medical Correspondent chart, neurosurgeon Fernando Gomes gave tips on how to maintain a good diet and avoid problems during the end of the year.
Surgeon Rodrigo Barbosa, heard by the CNN, said that a regulated diet, without excess fat, in addition to good hydration, are good paths to follow at this time of year.
“Too much carbohydrates, fats and alcohol can spoil your parties. So try to have a regulated diet, try to eat less, look for more diversity, don’t forget to drink water, don’t forget to exercise.”
Rodrigo Barbosa also said that actions such as eating and lying down straight away, eating and drinking at the same time or chewing food quickly can harm digestion.
Doctor Fernando Gomes gave some tips on how to speed up the metabolism, avoiding problems such as weight gain. Performing interval training and exercise, drinking water, sleeping well, eating every three hours and avoiding stress are some of the measures that can be taken.
