The Central Bank (BC) announced, on Monday (7), the creation of a new website for the Amounts Receivable System (SRV), which allows citizens and companies to consult “forgotten amounts” in accounts at banks or other financial institutions.
The new website will go live on February 14th.
If the user confirms that he has amounts to redeem, he will receive a date to recognize the amount of these amounts and to request the transfer from March 7th.
To start the consultation, the citizen must have an account on the government website and use his CPF or CNPJ. See the step-by-step below:
Create an account on Gov.br
Having an account at the Gov.br login is necessary to request the financial resources, according to the BC.
To register for free, simply access the website through the link above or through the platform applications, which can be downloaded both from Google Play, for Android users, and from the Apple Store, for iPhone users.
The gov.br account has three levels of security and access: bronze, silver and gold.
After installing the app or entering the website, the citizen will go through some steps, such as facial recognition, providing the CPF and creating a password.
To be able to redeem the money, the individual must have a silver or gold account, which offer more digital security.
Go to the new SRV website
After creating a silver or gold level account on gov.br, the citizen is now eligible and can access the new Amounts Receivable System (SRV).
Once you access the page, you will be asked to confirm your identity using a CPF or CNPJ.
Soon after the citizen provides the numbers, the platform will consult their data and inform if there are amounts to be redeemed in banks or financial institutions.
If the signal is positive, the system will provide a date for the individual to return to the site to find out the available amounts and request the transfer of money.
It is important to note that, after the user accesses the system, the BC can ask him to indicate a payment transfer method, such as a Pix key.
If the person misses the date informed, the BC communicated that it is possible to access the site again on another day, and the system will inform a new date for return.
care
To avoid passing the data to scammers and not falling into fraud, the Central Bank listed some points of alert for citizens who wish to consult the possible forgotten values.
The only website for consulting and requesting this money is already mentioned above: valorareceber.bcb.gov.br. Any other website with different URL is not the real one.
In addition, the Central Bank does not contact or send links to deal with amounts receivable or to confirm personal data.
No person is authorized to contact any citizen on behalf of the Central Bank or the Values Receivable System.
The only case in which the user can be contacted is if he has not informed a transfer method for the payment. In this case, the financial institution he chooses will contact him to make the transfer possible.
Also in this case, the financial institution cannot ask for any data or password to be confirmed.
The BC also reinforces that it is not prudent to enter suspicious links sent by email, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram.
Finally, the monetary entity emphasizes that it is not necessary to make any payment to know the amount of forgotten money or to redeem the values. If any site or person requests this, it’s a scam.
