The series “Fallout ” had a first scene released this Tuesday (19), during an event in Mumbai, India. Watch below.
The new production of Prime Video scheduled to premiere on April 11, is based on a eponymous post-apocalyptic game and must feature several action scenes.
In the released scene, protagonist Lucy (Ella Purnell) is in conflict with Ghoul (Walton Goggins), a little out of her mind, trying to deal with a problem in the Wasteland.
As her efforts to deescalate the situation fail and tensions rise, Lucy finds additional support from a member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
The series will have eight episodes that will be released simultaneously on Amazon's streaming platform.
Fallout is the story of the haves and the have-nots in a world where there is almost nothing to have.
The plot is set 200 years after the apocalypse, when inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind.
They are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully strange, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
The series stars Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), Walton Goggins (“The Hateful Eight”) and Aaron Moten (“Emancipation”).
The series' cast also includes Moises Arias (“The King of Staten Island”), Kyle MacLachlan (“Twin Peaks”), Sarita Choudhury (“Homeland”), Michael Emerson (“Person of Interest”), Leslie Uggams (“Deadpool “), between others.
