Images of monitoring cameras show the moment when Renê Teixeira, 43, goes to a clinic in Minas Gerais to kill his ex-wife, the biomedical Miqueia Nunes de Oliveira, 33.
The crime occurred on March 10 in Ibirité, metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. At first, he told police that he had tried to commit suicide after killing his ex-wife.

As he arrives, the victim is accompanied by a co -worker and a patient. The couple begins to argue and, at some point, he draws a fishing knife and strikes her nine times at the chest height.
The two women witness the attack and run out of the scene. Moment later, the man appears with the knife in his hand trying to escape the place. When he realizes that he is locked, he returns to the crime scene, cuts his wrists and lies next to the lifeless victim.
By the time the police arrived, he was aware and confessed to the crime. “He further stated that the motivation would have been jealous. He did not accept the end of the relationship. The two had been married for 4 years and by the end of 2024 she would have asked for divorce and about a month ago he would be meeting a new person. That would have been the drop of water for him,” said the delegate responsible for the case, Wellinton Faria.
Still according to the delegate, the man told the police that Renê’s idea was to attract the victim to his apartment, where he kept a gun loaded to kill her, and then commit suicide.
Police went to the scene and found a 9mm pistol loaded with 10 ammunition. However, the police believe that his goal has always been to kill her and escape, as he is a truck driver and the weapon that would be used was scraped numbering, which would make investigations difficult.
He was arrested in the act and was prison converted into preventive. According to police, he is still admitted to the hospital of Contagem and is waiting for surgery on his wrist.
The delegate also reported that he already had a police pass in 2017 for illegal possession of firearms. Regarding the victim, there was no request for protective measure or occurrence related to the couple.
