See the moment when the roof of Osasco Plaza Shopping collapsed

Part of the roof of Osasco Plaza Shopping, in Greater São Paulo, collapsed this Wednesday (8), around 2:30 pm, and did not leave any victims. Five cars that were on the top floor fell into the building. See the moment of the incident in the video above.

After the event, the mayor of the city, Rogério Lins (Podemos), announced the total interdiction and the revocation of the undertaking’s permit.

“Shopping totally banned, license revoked! Civil Defense, GCM [Guarda Civil Municipal]samu [Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência]CREA-SP [Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia de São Paulo]Scientific Police, Fire Department, Civil Police and Military Police followed every step”, wrote Lins on his social networks.

According to the head of the local Executive, an integral technical report of the entire structure of the building was required. At least three cars fell to the inside. No casualties were reported.

In a note, the venture said that the ban was to ensure the safety of employees and customers. “Management remains committed to identifying the causes of the incident and providing the necessary support to shopkeepers and regulars to restore normalcy as quickly as possible.”
