For Phil Nelson, commercial executive vice president of CNN Internacional, having CNN Brasil has been extremely important for a few reasons. “Firstly, for the country and for all the people of Brazil, CNN Brasil offers trusted, world-class journalism. And I think it's a great benefit for the entire country. Having CNN Brasil allows CNN to grow our news network and take advantage of a fantastic network here in Brazil. Then the stories can reach audiences around the world through CNN,” he explained.
