The Astrological New Year began last Monday (20), at 6:24 pm. According to astrology, the year only begins when the Sun enters the sign of Aries, which is the first sign of the Zodiac.
Astrologers Barbara Abramo and Luciana Mancuso explain what characterizes the Astrological New Year and what we can expect from 2023.
According to Luciana, the name given to this event is “autumn equinox”, which represents day and night with the same duration.
“For astrology it is a very important date, as it is the beginning of the journey of the Sun through the 12 signs of the zodiacal wheel. For ancient pagan cultures, the equinoxes were grounds for festivals, celebrations and rituals,” he explained.

Astrologer Barbara Abramo explained that this new cycle will be active, with major events, with important international relations for business and with attempts to stabilize the economy.
“In the economy, we will have lucrative international associations and review of matters related to land tenure and productivity, focusing on agrarian interests”, he declared.
She also explained that, in relation to the Executive, the months from May to October will be the most delicate, with confrontations and criticism of President Lula (PT).
Luciana reveals that, according to the astral forecast, measures will be taken to improve social issues.
“There will be a lot of focus on vaccinating citizens to minimize the spread of disease and there will also be preventive measures against hunger,” he said.
She pointed out, however, that the problems will not be overcome this year.
“It is not yet the year for the eradication of extreme poverty, but for palliative measures to try to remedy the chaos established in various sectors of society”.
According to Barbara, in relation to 2022, the astral year 2023 will be more effective. “Between gains and losses, it will have a much greater favorable balance than the period that ended”.
