Bruna Meirelles Corrêa, 32, a victim killed by her boyfriend during the night of Wednesday (12), had moved from interior to the capital expecting to improve her life through studies.
According to the family, the young woman was a student of Nutrition, born in Colares, northeast of the state and had been living with her godfather for about 7 years in Belém.
The victim was shot dead during discussion inside her boyfriend and military police, identified as Wladson Luan Monteiro Borges.
The criminal is part of the Metropolitan Tactical Ostensive Rounds Battalion (Rotam) and had been promoted recently. The case is being investigated by the Corregedoria.
According to reports, the PM even took Bruna to the hospital, but she was already lifeless. To the doctors, at first, the PM said she had been shot in a robbery, but then denied it.
The suspect’s car was abandoned with broken shooting and glass marks in front of the 14th March Municipal Emergency Room in the Umarizal neighborhood.
Wladson Luan was arrested in the act still at the hospital and presented by the Military Police to the Specialized Police Station for Women’s Assistance (Deam), where he was filed for femicide.
The PC requested expertise to assist in the investigations. The case is being investigated by the Defam Police Station.
In a statement, Pará Scientific Police reported on Thursday morning that the victim’s body has already been released to the family.
According to family members, the young woman should be veiled and buried in the municipality where she was born, in necklaces.
