Seegrid, which calls itself a leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for material handling, has unveiled the Seegrid Palion AMR range. According to the manufacturer, these robots “uniquely provide automated material flow”, increasing productivity, worker and equipment safety, and reducing labor costs.

The Palion Pallet Truck Series 8 is designed for the transport of goods on pallets. The manufacturer considers its advantages to be the ability to move along the lanes with their automatic detection for accurate loading and unloading of goods on pallets. The robot is equipped with an automatic charging feature that eliminates costly and dangerous human contact points and improves productivity by automating scheduling and charging for 24/7 operation.
The robot uses its own patented navigation technology. For the robot to remember the routes, it is enough to drive the robot along them or guide the robot along these routes. At the same time, the robot builds a detailed volumetric model of the surrounding world. In the future, the anguish of the destination can be simply indicated on the touch screen. The robot can move up to 3.6 tons of cargo at a speed of up to 6.4 km / h.
Seegrid also announced that the Palion brand will be used for all future autonomous mobile robots.
