The results of a survey conducted by the Chinese Automobiles website among popular journalists and bloggers showed that the Geely Tugella coupe-crossover became the best car from China in Russia for the second year in a row.
49 experts and a group of Chinese Automobiles readers took part in the voting. Everyone chose the best model of their choice, as well as a few more worthy of a place in the top five. As a result, 40 people mentioned Geely Tugella, while 18 put the model in first place. The car scored 76 points, while the closest pursuer had only 29 points.
Geely Coolray, which was in second place a year ago, moved to fifth place, and the new crossover Haval Jolion took second place. Haval H9 climbed to third place. It’s the only car that has improved since last year’s poll, when it finished in 8th place. This success is due to the update of the model, which improved its off-road qualities, as well as modernized the interior.
The fourth place went to another new product Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, the sixth and seventh places were taken by Exeed VX and Geely Atlas Pro, respectively. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro dropped to eighth place, although a year earlier it was in third place.
Interestingly, real sales show a different picture: the December chart winner and the leader for the whole year was the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro crossover.
