Selena Gomez is addressing comments from some of her followers on social media about a recent video where her hands were shaking.
The star of “The Only Murders In The Building” had posted a video of her makeup and skincare routine on TikTok.
“I got most of these products for free,” she wrote in the caption, along with some makeup removal tips.
Some noticed that their hands didn’t seem to be steady at times.
Another TikTok user made a video about it, prompting Gomez to respond in the comments.
“Lol I shake from my lupus medication,” Gomez wrote in the comments. “Also read my disclaimer. I’m not professional [emoji rindo]”, he completed.
The TikTok video that criticized Gomez’s shaky hands has since been deleted.
The singer and actress has been open about her health issues, which in addition to lupus include being diagnosed as bipolar.
Lupus is a chronic inflammatory condition that causes the body to attack its own healthy cells and tissues.
Gomez revealed that she had lupus in 2015. Two years later, she said the condition led to a kidney transplant, donated by her friend, actress Francia Raisa.
