SENAI trains professionals for Industry 4.0

Known as Intelligent Industry, the fourth industrial revolution is the model that uses machines and connected systems that improve productivity. According to the projection made by SENAI, through of the Industrial Labor Map, which is carried out based on scenarios about the behavior of the Brazilian economy and its sectors, the market will have a high demand for professionals of technology and logistics. The forecast is that, within five years, new professionals will appear to respond, for example, to the greater need for ultra-fast internet in a new online world.

The list also includes the high connectivity solutions analyst and the remote work advisor. Technicians in mechatronics and telecommunications will also be in high demand.

All this information is supported by the most solid educational institution, present in Brazil for almost 8 decades. Since its creation in 1942, SENAI has already trained more than 75 million Brazilian workers, in 28 industry segments, from professional initiation to graduation and technological post-graduation.

It is present in 2,800 Brazilian municipalities and annually carries out 2.2 million enrollments in professional education. It has 583 fixed units and 465 mobile units, including two school boats, which take courses to residents of remote regions of the Amazon.

Since its creation, SENAI has contributed to the industrial growth of Brazil. Now, in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, experience and knowledge are needed more than ever to train professionals in line with the new market demands.
