Senegal: Wood and… chairs in the Parliament – MP slapped a female colleague and chaos ensued

Incredible scenes took place in parliament her Senegal on Thursday with MPs playing wood and throwing chairs. As the debate between government and opposition had heated up and tempers had soured, one opposition MP slapped a female colleaguecausing things to get out of hand.

Everything happened, as noted by DWduring the passing of the budget of the Ministry of Justice for the following year.

In the midst of the budget presentation, opposition MP Massata Samb slapped Amy Ndiaye Gniby of the ruling coalition Benno Bokk Yakaar (BBY);

Gniby he countered, throwing a chair to Samb till where another deputy threw her to the floor.

The meeting was adjourned as after the first fight the MPs continued to exchange punches and curses.
