THE Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced, this Thursday (5), the nominees in the TV category for the 30th edition of Critics Choice Awards which is scheduled to take place on the day January 12, 2025 in Santa Monica, California, United States.
Among the nominees, the miniseries “Senna” which arrived in the Netflix catalog last Friday (29), is competing in the category Best Foreign Language Series . Starring Gabriel Leone over six episodes, the production explores the life and career of the Brazilian Formula 1 driver.
The series “Shogun: The Glorious Saga of Japan” leads the list with six nominations among them, in the categories Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series and Best Actress in a Drama Series.
“Abbott Elementary” (ABC), “Disclaimer” (Apple TV+), “Hacks” (Max), “The Diplomat” (Netflix), “Penguin” (Max) and “What We Do in the Shadows” (Disney+) appear next with four nominations each.
“Abbott Elementary”, “Hacks” and “What We Do in the Shadows” will face off in the Best Comedy Series category, while “Disclaimer” and “Penguin” compete for Best Limited Series and “The Diplomat” received a nomination for Best Series Dramatic.
