“Sentimento Louco” was a song that moved Marília Mendonça, says the artist’s advisor

Full of hits such as “Infiel”, “Alô Porteiro” and “Como Faz com Ela”, singer Marília Mendonça, who died in a plane crash this Friday (6), in Minas Gerais, had one of her favorite songs the song “Sentimento Louco”, according to the artist’s press office.

The “Queen of Sofrência”, as the artist was also known, considered this composition as one of the ones that most stirred her deepest feelings and became one of her favorites.

The lyrics, in deep words, speak of the overwhelming feeling for a man married to another woman. Even knowing that it is not right to create expectations in that relationship, another excerpt speaks of the judgment of others and only those who love another person can understand the crazy feeling.

The national visibility of Marília Mendonça came with the song “Infiel”, but “Sentimento Louco” is among the ten greatest hits of the artist. In total, the singer had 342 songs and made it clear that she cared for them all.

The “Patroas” project, the last one by Marília Mendonça, and made in partnership with the sisters Maiara and Maraisa, was highlighted in one of the world’s largest exhibition venues: billboard in Times Square in New York, in the United States in October this year. “Todo Mundo Menos Você” is considered one of the greatest hits on the album.

“Patroas 35%” was the only Brazilian album in Spotify’s Global Top 10, standing next to releases by names such as Coldplay, Young Thug and Mac Miller. Some of the most heard songs in the project, which also features lyrics by other composers, were written by Marília herself.
