The Rio de Janeiro Municipal Department of Public Order seized more than 200 kg of copper and 10 rounds of 556 caliber rifle ammunition during an inspection at a scrapyard this Tuesday (27), in Magalhães Bastos, in the west zone of Rio.

In a statement, SEOP reported that another 1,600 spent ammunition capsules (already used) of various calibers were also found.
The location was closed and the person responsible was arrested for illegal possession of ammunition restricted to the Armed Forces.
The incident was registered at the 33rd DP (Realengo).
