A Sunday dedicated to beauty, to discover the landscapes that make Italy unique: it is the Panorama Day of the Italian Environment Fund, which this year is celebrated on September 12, as always at the end of summer.
WHAT’S THIS
The Panorama Day is the event that FAI has been dedicating since 2014 to the Italian landscapes and to the promotion of their knowledge, organized in collaboration with the Zegna Foundation: an opportunity to discover an integral part of our cultural heritage, and raise awareness of protecting it.
WHERE
The event, which from year to year becomes more and more articulated, for the 2021 edition it takes place in thirteen Beni Fai in ten regions – Avio Castle in Sabbionara di Avio (Trento), Masino Castle and Park in Caravino (Turin), Villa Flecchia and Enrico Collection in Magnano (Biella), Torre del Soccorso in Tremezzina, Ossuccio (Como), Abbey of San Fruttuoso in Camogli (Genoa), Podere Case Lovara in Punta Mesco, Levanto (La Spezia), Villa dei Vescovi in ​​Luvigliano di Torreglia (Padua), Garden on the Colle dell’Infinito in Recanati (Macerata), Bosco di San Francesco in Assisi (Perugia) , Villa Gregoriana Park in Tivoli (Rome), Ieranto Bay in Massa Lubrense (Naples), Saline Conti Vecchi in Assemini (Cagliari) and Talmone Military Battery in Punta Don Diego, Palau (Sassari) – to which is added the Zegna Oasis in Trivero Valdilana (Biella) environmental and social enhancement project commissioned by Ermenegildo Zegna and sponsored by the FAI.
WHAT YOU DO
And stroll, take guided tours, have fun crossing historical places but also villages, woods, naturalistic areas: each good a different proposal. For example al Avio Castle indoor and outdoor tours are planned, as well as trekking with picnics. To the Masino Castle and Park in Caravino (Turin), on the other hand, the head gardener will lead to the discovery of the park, its monumental trees and its great history, then it will be possible to taste wines and participate in workshops dedicated to the whole family. L’Oasi Zegna a Trivero Valdilana (Biella) will also host a review of outdoor concerts while atAbbey of San Fruttuoso there will be nature walks with the park guides and with the architect Alessandro Capretti, Director of the Abbey, who will deepen the historical and architectural evolution of the property.
