With 12 days on display throughout Brazil, “The Farofeiros 2” reached the mark of 1 million viewers last Monday (18).
In its second week on air, the film remains in the top of the ranking of the weekend and the theater circuit was expanded to 1136 with 13 new cinemas. Furthermore, the film also already occupies the third position on the list of national titles released in 2024 .
The comedy, directed by Roberto Santucci and scripted by Paulo Cursino, the duo responsible for the first feature film in the franchise that brought almost 3 million people to cinemas in 2018, kept the entire main cast, made up of Cacau Protásio, Maurício Manfrini, Danielle Winits, Charles Paraventi, Antônio Fragoso, Elisa Pinheiro, Nilton Bicudo and Aline Campos.

In this new story, Alexandre (Antônio Fragoso) wins the award for best sales manager: an all-expenses-paid trip to Bahia, but discovers that his co-workers Lima (Maurício Manfrini), Rocha (Charles Paraventi) and Diguinho (Nilton Bicudo) ) are not satisfied with their management.
To prevent this from getting in the way of a promised promotion to the position of director, he invites his friends and their families to travel with him, his wife and their children towards the Northeast.
From then on, nothing goes as expected and what should be pure fun brings one problem after another, from a hotel falling apart to a beach that is not exclusive and confusion in a water park.
