After the end of the Hollywood actors’ and screenwriters’ strike, some of the recordings were quickly resumed, as is the case with “Beetlejuice 2” — the sequel to “Beverly Good” (1988), directed by Tim Burton. Now, according to information from American channel CBS Newsfilming for the film may have ended last Friday (17).
The film, which is scheduled to be released in September 2024, is highly anticipated as it is the sequel to a classic. Part of the original cast is confirmed for the new film, such as Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice) and Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz).
Actress Jenna Ortega — successful in the role of Wandinha, from the Netflix series — is also in the cast. In recent days, images of her and other colleagues recording for the film have circulated on social media, see below:

In the 1988 film, we follow the story of Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin), a couple who die in a car accident and are left with their spirits trapped in their country house. When the Deetze family moves into the residence, the Maitlands do everything they can to scare them away. Unsuccessfully, they appeal to the character Beettlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rebellious ghost who becomes a danger.
