Katherine Heigl looks ready to always be the godmother and never the bride – again. The actress, a dog food expert and mother of three she recently talked to E! News about the sequence of the romantic comedy that starred in 2008.
“I think that We are in negotiations for a ‘dress to marry’ sequence that, if done well and with that cast I love so much, it would be definitely something I would be willing to give up mother’s time to do “, he said.
“It would have to be done well, but you don’t want to diminish the first movie at all. You want to add something to it. So if we can do that and work, I think it would be a lot of fun. And I think they are working on it,” he added.
In “Dressed to get married” Heigl played Jane, a lady of honor who was a godmother of marriage 27 times and needs to serve again at her sister’s marriage – who is marrying her boss, for whom Jane has a hidden passion.
Heigl is not the only one that is open to a sequence of “dressing”. James Marsden, who played his love interest in the movie, said to “send” in 2023.
“This movie strangely has a potential that I wasn’t sure if I expected I had,” he said at the time. “Just a fan base that people – when talking about romantic comedies – you really don’t see many of them being done today.”
