According to press reports, a 21-year-old man spread death in the villages of Dubona and Shepsin, shooting indiscriminately with an automatic weapon from his car.
The television networks Nova S and N1 broadcast that so far the death of eight people and the injury of fifteen others have been confirmed. Fears are expressed that the death toll will become even heavier.
Strong police forces cordoned off the area in search of the perpetrator. Information indicates that he was located and surrounded by the police near the town of Mali Pozarevac. But he refuses to surrender and exchanges fire with the police.
The new carnage comes a few days later the tragedy in a school in Belgrade where a teenager opened fire and killed eight students and the guard of the building shocking the country that lives in deep mourning.
