The presenter Serginho Groisman 74, paid tribute Silvio Santos on the program Altas Horas (TV Globo), shown on Saturday night (17). The owner of SBT died in the early hours of the same day, at the age of 93, altering the programming of TV stations.
“I had a history built within SBT, which many people know. So, today the beginning of the program is a tribute to him [Silvio Santos]”, said Serginho Groisman.
At the beginning of the show, he announced that he would remember two moments with Silvio Santos. “We will show two moments: the Troféu Imprensa, when I received it. And a part of my time in a segment called Em Nome do Amor”.
In the video of the first occasion mentioned, Serginho Groisman declared his love for Silvio Santos. “You are a kind person. You are a very dear person, Silvio. I have a very special affection for you,” he said. The owner of SBT then responded: “That’s great, thank goodness. We are all dear to you.”
Finally, the Altas Horas presenter stated that this was a small tribute to one of the greatest communicators in the country, and wished strength to Silvio Santos’ family and friends.
