Series based on post-apocalyptic game, “Fallout” is renewed for a 2nd season

Prime Video announced, on Thursday night (18), that “Fallout” will return for a second season .

The recently released series is based on the video game of the same name and has eight episodes – see 5 other series inspired by video games.

The plot portrays the world set 200 years after an apocalypse. In it, people who live in luxury radioactive shelters return to the landscape that humanity left devastated and explore a complex, happy, strange and violent universe.

The series follows three main characters:

  • Lucy : optimistic Refuge resident who has an all-American entrepreneurial spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to return to the surface to rescue her father;
  • Maximus : a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire of the Brotherhood of Steel military organization. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood's goals of bringing law and order to the desert; It is
  • The Ghoul : a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within himself a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world.

The series is from the same creator as “Westworld” (2016-2022), Lisa Joy, and is starred by Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), Walton Goggins (“The Hateful Eight”) and Aaron Moten (“Emancipation”).
