The leadership of the Serum Institute of India, the manufacturer of the anti-coronavirus vaccine CoviShield, promises to “top-level” solve the problem of non-recognition in the EU of vaccination certificates with this biological product. The corresponding statement was made on Twitter by the CEO of the Serum Institute of India, Adar Punavalla.
Cyrus Punavalla, the 40-year-old son of the billionaire founder of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer, writes that Indians vaccinated with Covishield are having problems traveling to the EU.
Citizens of Ukraine have similar problems, which also bought a batch of this biological product: it was the first to be inoculated with Ukrainians.
“I assure everyone: I raised this topic at the highest levels and I hope to resolve this issue soon, both with regulators and at the diplomatic level with countries,” the SII CEO promised.
