SberBank announced the start of sales of a new product in the Sber ecosystem – a multifunctional set-top box SberBox Top.
SberBox Top is offered to Russian users at a price of 14,990 rubles. Sales have already begun on the SberDevices page, and in early August the device will appear in SberBank and M.Video-Eldorado branches.
The set-top box combines the functions of a media center, smart camera and smart speaker. It allows you to make video calls, watch movies, listen to music, play, control a smart home and play sports with tracking the correctness of exercise.
SberBox Top works with the Salyut voice assistants, you can control it using the complete remote control, voice and gestures. The set-top box also provides access to the cloud gaming service SberPlay. The “Children’s Mode” is available, which is activated through the “SberSalut” application and blocks all “adult” content, as well as the ability to make payments.
SberBox Top is connected to the TV via HDMI, power is supplied from the mains. The device measures 178 x 66 x 25.6 mm and weighs 300 grams. The device can be attached to the top of the TV or placed under it. Without a TV or with the TV turned off, SberBox Top can be used simply as a smart speaker.
