The streaming service Paramount+ announced, this Monday (15), the hiring of singer Seu Jorge to perform original productions in Brazil.
The singer, who also accumulates successful works in acting, has already been confirmed in the biographical series “Anderson Spider Silva”, about the life of the former MMA fighter.
Seu Jorge will play Benedito, the athlete’s uncle. “I am very honored to be part of this project. I’m very good friends with Anderson, I love him and the whole family. And, for me, it’s been much more than a gift to be able to help tell this story”, said the singer, in a statement released to the press.
“Anderson Silva is a great winner. It’s an honor to represent such an important character in his life story. Seeing the biography of this athlete’s life being told is the greatest joy because it is these Brazilian stories that inspire people,” he added.
In addition to the series, Seu Jorge has already been confirmed in the production of a Paramount+ film.
Although it is still in the development stage, the service has already confirmed that the theme of the feature film will be Christmas.
According to Paramount, the film will be “a story filled with emotion and fun, with scripts originating inside the Black Narratives room, led by Marton Olympio”.
