“’Alibi’ is changing my life. Last week it went to #1 in 60 countries, we were #1 on TikTok and Shazam globally. #12 on Spotify globally. I obviously feel the support of my fans more than ever and it made me realize that creating music has always been a way for me to find home and family,” he said.
“Unfortunately, I will never be able to return to my homeland Iran, I would be arrested or killed. I have always felt like a nomadic immigrant. In the last year, I have been welcomed with open arms by the Latin American people. It is very special to me and I am grateful,” Sevdaliza continued.
“I want to once again thank the beautiful team from Brazil who made this work of art a memory that I will cherish forever,” he concluded in his text.
A huge success worldwide, “Alibi” also made Pabllo Vittar the first Brazilian drag queen to enter the top 50 of music streaming and hold the third highest peak for a Brazilian artist on the platform, behind only Anitta, who reached the top with “Envolver” and eighth place with “Bellakeo”, in collaboration with Peso Pluma.
