Seven people remain hospitalized in hospitals after the accident with a bus from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in the municipality of Imigrante, Rio Grande do Sul, last Friday (4). Students and teachers were in the vehicle, which crashed into a bluff on RSC-453.
In Lajeado, at Bruno Born Hospital, three patients are admitted. Eliane Ravazi Matos, 55, and Emerson Andrade dos Santos, 25, are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Already Marília Milani, 37, is hospitalized in a normal bed. The picture of the three is considered stable.
In Santa Maria, at the University Hospital, we are hospitalized Terezinha Maria Vandrusculo, 60, and Karina Vieira Dias Rego, 39. The institution says they are stable.
Also in Santa Maria, but at the Astrogildo de Azevedo Hospital Complex, Denise Estivalete Cunha, 33, and Fernanda Gonçalves de Menezes, 45, are admitted to the hospital, “both are well, are stable, hospitalized for the exams, the physical trauma that each has (fracture and abrasions), medicated and assisted”. Also according to the institution, they have no forecast of discharge, as they should undergo surgical procedures.
In the accident, seven people died and more than 20 were injured. The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the Civil Police.
