One mosque collapsed at Nigeria on Friday and more specifically in the city of Zaria in Kaduna state, as a result of which seven pilgrims lost their lives and several others were injured.
Local authorities reported that the collapse occurred as hundreds of worshipers had flooded the mosque to pray.
“Initially, four bodies were recovered and then three more were found by the rescue crews that searched the area”official Abdullahi Qwarbai said.

However, some media in the country are talking about ten dead, something that has not been officially confirmed.
Building collapses are a frequent occurrence in Africa’s most populous country, with the Nigerian authorities mainly attributing them to urban planning arbitrariness and poor workmanship.
