‘Sex and the City’ actor Chris Noth is accused of abuse by two women

Actor Chris Noth, known for playing Mr. Big in Sex and The City, was accused of sexual abuse by two women (identified as Lily and Zoe to protect their privacy).

Noth has categorically denied the facts and even described the statements made against him as false. This has cast doubt on his image and career in Hollywood.

The accusations were published in The Hollywood Reporter and it is noted that the two women do not know each other, that their testimonies were issued separately and months apart. However, both descriptions share multiple similarities.

According to the statements, the events occurred in Los Angeles, California, in 2004, and in New York in 2015. Zoe and Lily say they took too long to reveal what happened because they feared they would be mocked and that no one would believe them.

In the stories of the alleged victims there are details in common and an attack that ended in a rape by the actor that left them psychological consequences and that they hope that now, after disclosing the facts and waiting for justice, they can close that cycle of pain and hopelessness.

Chris Noth, actor of 'Sex and the City', was severely accused by two women

After the publication of the accusations against Noth, the actor came out in self-defense, assuring that everything that is said is completely false.

The accusations against me made by these people I knew years, even decades ago, are categorically false. These stories could have been from 30 years or 30 days ago, but ‘does not always mean no’, it is a line that I never crossed with them. These meetings were consensual.

It’s hard not to question where and why this is coming from now, but all I do know is: I didn’t assault these two women.

At the moment, Noth’s lawyers have not released any statement on the matter, but it is likely that if the case goes to court, they will have to appear to face the charges.
