Sex-obsessed seniors are causing an epidemic of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia in America

The younger generation may be believed to be sex-obsessed, but health officials in America have noted that elderly sex addicts are responsible for an epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases in the country, such as syphilis and gonorrhea. The data has been recorded by the CDC and in addition to the high number of partners that people over the age of 55 had – men and women – it was observed that they alone more than doubled the incidence of STDs within a decade. For example, the most recent data from 2022 showed more than 2.5 million cases of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia, with scientists stressing that the figures for 2023 “will be much worse”. The biggest spike is in South Dakota, which has the highest rate of syphilis cases at 6.1 per 100,000 people. Washington also ranks first in gonorrhea diagnoses, with about 29 cases per 100,000 people, while Alaska recorded the highest rate of chlamydia among seniors at nearly 18 cases per 100,000 people.
