Sharik is an open source, cross-platform solution for file sharing via Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot.
This application allows you to easily send photos, applications, files, text, almost anything, to any device connected to the same network. It’s convenient and incredibly fast.
After choosing the language and familiarizing yourself with the intro, on the main screen you can see the buttons for sharing and the latest shared files. Here you can share pictures, files, installed applications, or just text. After selecting a file, the Sharing screen will be shown. Here you can see the status of the connection to the network (Wi-Fi / Mobile Hotspot) and the link that you need to open on another device. After entering this link in the browser and pressing Enter on another computer, the file will start downloading. Please check that both devices are connected to the same network.
Let’s say Sharik is already installed on both devices. In this case, after sending a file from one device, you can simply click on the “Accept” button on the bottom panel of another Ball. After pressing, the Receive screen will be displayed. If Sharik sees another device sharing something on the local network, it will be shown. When clicked, a browser screen will open and the download will begin.
Sharik is a completely free app that doesn’t even have ads. Moreover, its source code is published on GitHub, so that everyone can contribute to the development and development of Sharik.
