Shawn Mendes postpones release of new album: “I need more time”

The singer Shawn Mendes 26, took to social media to announce that the release of her new album will be postponed. Initially scheduled to reach music platforms on October 18th, your fifth studio album will now be released on November 15th .

“Hey guys. My team and I decided to postpone the album release until November 15th. We just need a little more time to bring some inspirations and ideas to life,” he said in his caption.

Afterwards, he thanked his fans for their patience and wrote: “I can’t wait to see you at the next shows.”

In July, in addition to revealing the supposed cover of “Shawn” and the complete tracklist, the Canadian singer also published an open letter to talk about his new production.

To the delight of fans, three singles have already been made available: “Why Why Why”, “Isn’t That Enough” and “Nobody Knows”. At Rock in Rio, where he performed on September 22, he took the three new songs to the Brazilian public.

In addition to the aforementioned songs, Shawn presented the new “Heart of Gold” which, according to the artist, was made in honor of a childhood friend he lost. “It’s a letter to you, wherever you are, with all the things I could never tell you”, he quoted.
