Scary shots showing a woman facing thieves holding on ironers when he bothered them while they were trying to steal him catalyst from the car of one of her neighbors, the camera of her house recorded.
A man wearing a full face mask ran towards 5-year-old Madhuri Bedi when she walked out of her home in Colnbrook, Berkshire, to take her dog for a walk around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4.
The video of the camera shows the woman, who is also a municipal councilor in Slough, managing to get herself and her dog back into the house and close the door before being caught by a robber.
He is heard repeatedly shouting, “Go back,” before another masked man appears waving a metal bar.
Anxious efforts of the family to keep the door closed
The first man then knocked on the door in an attempt to intimidate Ms Bedi as her husband, Sunil, 54, and son, Nihal, 15, kept the front door closed.
The video begins with four masked figures carrying tools and metal rods approaching a car on the other side of the road. Suddenly someone locks Ms. Bedi and runs over her holding an iron bar in one hand, forcing her to go back inside.
Mrs. Bedi then recalled the frightening meeting: “I went out and saw these men running towards me with iron bars. I thought they were coming to hurt my family and rob us. “I had no idea at the time that it had to do with interrupting them.”
He went on to say that “another neighbor had returned from work and had seen a few feet protruding under the car in question, and he simply assumed that some work was being done on it. I quickly managed to get back into the house and close the door, I do not know how. “My husband and son were holding the door at the time and thought they were trying to break into our house.”
But the men fled after removing the valuable part from the car.
He added: “They came to steal my neighbor’s catalyst and because I bothered them for that they attacked me. “They probably thought it was my car.”
