The tragic incident took place on Friday in Manhattan. Linda Holston came out on the roof of a luxury skyscraper and dived into space, holding her dog in her arms.
The 60-year-old had just finished her meal, according to the New York Post. Police said they found one note in her apartment, where she talked about the stress she was going through, but also boxes of medicines.
Holston moved to New York in 2017, where she worked on shows outside of Broadway.
