A shelter between three trucks and four cars left Three dead people and five wounds On the afternoon of Tuesday (8) on BR-116, at the time of Itaiópolis, Santa Catarina.
According to Arteris Planalto Sul, a concessionaire that manages the stretch, the accident occurred around 4 pm at kilometer 20, towards Rio Grande do Sul. Three people died at the scene and another five were injured and were referred to hospitals in the region.

The highway was blocked in both directions for about 3 hours. Part of the road began to be released around 7 pm. Also according to Arteris, teams from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and the Fire Department attended the occurrence.
