The developer of the Shiba Inu crypto project Kaal Dhairya warned that Treat tokens were launched only on the Ethereum network in January 2025. Tokens with a similar name in the nets of Solana or Base can be fraudulent.

Dhairia explained that the Shiba Inu Treat account was hacked in the social network, and false information can be published on this account. Hackers can make confusion that Treat tokene functions in several networks at once. However, any tokens using the SHIB brand or images of the project in SOLANA or BASE blockchains are fake. Dheiria emphasized that if the Shiba Inu team someday decides to make its tokens available on other blockchains, this will be announced on the official web-site of the project.

The independent “detective” in the Shibarium blockchain, using the Susbarium pseudonym, confirmed the hacking of the account and called on users to check any tokens using the SHIB image through the SHIB.IO service or the Blockchain of the Ethereum. The blockchain-detective warned that all the legal tokens in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, including Treat, are created on the basis of the Ethereum.

The Shiba Inu team is not the first to refute the misinformation on the launch of tokens. Previously, the lead developer Shiba Inu under the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama denied rumors that Treat token was secretly launched in 2023. In April last year, the Shiba Inu team warned about scammers who disseminated information about Treata not yet released. Their official launch took place on January 14, 2025.

A few months ago, the developers of Shiba Inu announced that the Shibarium platform is in no way connected with the Female Shib or Sheboshi (Sheb) crypto project. It uses a similar name, and this can mislead users.
