Shiloh and Zahara Pitt wear recycled clothes and we should do like them too

We have all seen the photos of Angelina Jolie parading on the red carpet of his latest film in the company of his children. We also noticed how his two teenage daughters, Shiloh and Zahara, wore dresses dressed by their mother, in recent years, on various public occasions, thus becoming proud ambassadors of recycling.

They have made their own, making some changes to make them unique, the old looks of the actress, making them current again and above all wearable for two girls of their age. In fact they gave us a great lesson, teaching us that you can give a second life to garments already worn, which we had forgotten at the bottom of who knows which drawer and which we no longer thought of putting. An action that not only allows us to have a potentially infinite wardrobe, but above all is one of the most eco-sustainable behaviors we can adopt.

The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world, not to mention how much CO2 the shipments that arrive directly at home produce, a dress that we no longer like and we decide to throw away and not donate or all the compulsive purchases we make when we think we have nothing to wear.

Then, it is appropriate to take the Pitt sisters as an example. Before buying yet another garment that will end up in the closet after a couple of times or throwing one that we think we will no longer wear, we think that with some modifications it can be worn as if it were a new one. Or, we can think of giving it to a friend * who will be able to enhance it more than us, giving it a completely different opportunity for use. Limiting our purchases, relying on vintage, second hand and recycling is a small gesture that instead gives a huge hand to the planet. So, it’s time to rearrange our old dress and show it off at the next party to which we will be invited: we will be stylish * and super cool just like Shiloh e Zahara Pitt.
