The search for the two missing women after the sinking of a small vessel in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo, close to the “Devil’s Throat”, should be resumed this Tuesday morning (1st). The information was confirmed by the Maritime Fire Brigade (GBMar).
The wreck occurred last Sunday night (29). The vessel carried seven people, five women and two men. Of these, two men and three women have already been rescued.
The region where the vessel sank, called “Devil’s Throat”, is considered dangerous because of the strong currents and waves in the sea, which result in a large number of drownings.
The search for the missing began shortly after the incident and was resumed on Monday morning (30), to try to locate the two victims who remain missing.
There is still no information about the causes of the accident.
