Shipwreck off Turkey: 37 of the 45 migrants – passengers of the ship rescued

There are 37 migrants who were rescued by a boat that sank south of Turkey.

As announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense passengers were a total of 45 people.

Turkish Navy ships and an aircraft continue search and rescue operations for the remaining missing.

The ministry said in a statement that on Thursday night (22/7) it was informed that the boat, which was located 260 kilometers southwest of the city of Kas (Antifellos), was sinking.
