Shock in Britain by police officer’s revelations: He confessed to being a serial rapist

A serving London police officer has revealed that he is on a streak rapist and pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault and rape against 12 women over an 18-year period.

The acts confessed to by the person in question policeman making him one of the worst sex offenders in British history.

London’s Metropolitan Police today “apologised” saying it should have detected the abusive behavior of David Carrick, 48, who pleaded guilty to 49 charges, including 24 rapesduring the period 2003 to 2020.

Carrick was suspended as an armed police officer when he was arrested in October 2021.

His crimes were committed from 2003 to 2020 and most in his home state of Hertfordshire.

Carrick, who met the women on dating apps or at social events, served in the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Administration.

He confessed to raping 9 women, some multiple times over the course of months or years, and many of these assaults involved violence that caused them injury.

Following his confession, London’s Metropolitan Police suspended his pay and launched an internal administrative investigation, with a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

London’s Metropolitan Police, which has implemented “special measures” following a series of scandals over the past year, said Carrick abused his power as a police officer to commit horrific crimes.

Commissioner Mark Rowley has been appointed head of London’s police force to clean up the House and has, as reported by the Athens News Agency, vowed to sack officers who are corrupt, racist and have broken the law.

An independent inquiry into London’s Metropolitan Police in October ruled that “radical” reform is needed into how the force handles allegations of misconduct by hundreds of its staff and officers.

The inquiry was ordered in 2021 after an officer was jailed for life for the rape and murder of Sarah Everard.
