An alarm has been sounded in the Authorities of neighboring Turkey after the crash of a Be-200 firefighting aircraft.
According to the Turkish media, this is a Russian Beriev type aircraft, which the country had rented from Russia, due to the large fires that have been raging lately. Search and rescue teams have rushed to the area to locate survivors.

“During the extinguishing of a fire near the city of Kahramanmaras, a Be-200 firefighting aircraft rented by Russia crashed.
Rescuers were sent to the crash site.
The crew consisted of eight people – six from the Russian team and two from Turkey, “the Turkish Forest Service said in a statement.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Be-200 crashed while approaching the ground after a firefighting operation.
