A really shocking accident happened in a race MMA on the night of Thursday 1/4. Canadian MMA champion Khetag Pliev cut off his finger during a fight with Devin Goodale!
The referee stopped the match in the second round. Plief’s finger and specifically o middle, he was left in a glove and so the surgeons managed to “stick” it to the local hospital in Philadelphia.
He told ESPN that – as a doctor informed him – 50% of all tendons in his finger had been torn and he would need new surgery.
“In the second round, he grabbed my glove with one hand and held it,” Pliev said. “I felt my finger broke. He continued to pull my glove and my finger broke. “When the second round is over, I see it [κόκαλο] I was open. I wanted to keep fighting, because I felt they could beat him. “But the doctor saw it and stopped the fight.”
